ARION S.A. successfully participated in the 10th International “Logistics & Supply Chain Expo”, which took place from 18 to 20 October 2025 at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens. During the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to discover the innovative automated storage and retrieval solutions (ASRS) from Kardex, the global leader in intralogistics systems, officially represented in Greece by ARION S.A., the exclusive distributor and certified service center of Kardex. At the ARION booth, attendees explored the state-of-the-art ASRS solutions by Kardex, designed to optimize storage space, reduce picking times, and significantly enhance warehouse efficiency and throughput. One of the highlights of the presentation was the introduction of the new Kardex WTA (Wearable Task Assistant) — a cutting-edge technological innovation that combines ergonomic design, intelligent guidance, and exceptional picking accuracy. The WTA provides step-by-step guidance to operators through a lightweight E-Ink display comfortably worn on the wrist. It displays all essential information such as cart details, quantities, and put locations, while confirming each step via an integrated scanner. This dual-confirmation process ensures real-time validation and error prevention, with instant alerts and operator guidance to the correct position, thereby minimizing mistakes and increasing overall accuracy. Thanks to its intuitive design, the WTA reduces the need for memorization, simplifies training, and enables operators to adapt quickly — boosting both individual and team productivity. When combined with the Kardex Color Pick system, it supports batch picking, allowing operators to collect larger quantities of items for multiple orders simultaneously, further reducing travel distances and speeding up order fulfillment.
